Does Art have to 'mean something' and what is it's function? Why I make art-
- To use creativity to serve life in my own way-
- To challenge that which kills imagination- the banal- the mediocre- and stand up to the mean spiritedness that serves to insult, oppress and bully those who stand out as 'different', individualistic or gifted
- To broaden appreciation of culture, the arts, because I believe it's close to the heart and soul of humanity
- To encourage love of the Artsculture because I believe it's an important part of a mature personality
- To promote awareness of how cultural influences have contributedcontribute to what we are
- Because being part of the tradition feelsmakes me feel good
- Because our diet of popular culture is fatteningdeadly
- To do what I was born to do
